Just as we store our money in wallets or bank accounts, digital coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, are stored in a digital wallet.

Each wallet has a public key corresponding to a bank account number, and a private key corresponding to the password for the bank account. In order to receive digital coins in your wallet, you must provide your wallet address to the sender.

Before you buy any sort of cryptocurrency, make sure you have a wallet. It is important to note that each digital currency has its own wallet type, and there are wallets that support several types of cryptocurrencies.
